New Years Eve Outfit Ideas!

Hey Girls,
Since the new year is very soon, I wanted to create some looks to hopefully give you some inspiration! I used a website called polyvore to put these outfits together. I know people have different styles but these are just things I would wear!

This First outfit is the more dressy of the two. The sparkley skirt is the main focus and of course you need a bit of sparkle included in any new years outfit! The top is quite simple which I like and the bag adds a bit of texture and colour to the outfit. My favourite piece from the outfit are definitely the boots. I chose them just because I thought they were unexpected and comfortable.
Top//Nordstrom (similar in Topshop)
Skirt//Maurices.com
Boots//Blackfive.com
Clutch//Moreislove.com

This outfit is a little bit more casual. If you're not about the glitter, metallics are are just as gorgeous & eye-catching. Usually I don't really like fur coats but I love this black one with the outfit! I think the hat and fur coat make the outfit very glam. Unfortunately, I lost trace of where everything is from but most of these are quite basic pieces that you could find in a lot of places.

Comment which outfit is your favourite!
What are you doing this new years?

Thanks for reading,
Chloe x

Hello!

Hi Everyone,
I haven't used this blog for a few months due to lack of motivation and inspiration. I really hope to keep up and try post regularly on this now! I'd like to start doing more music related posts and if anyone has any ideas or if you'd like to read anything in particular, comment! I like blogging for myself but if anyone reads it, I guess that's a bonus, so thank you!

Happy Holidays!

Horoscopes, Witches & Makeup look

Happy Saturday!
I have an extra long weekend because of St. Patricks day, yay! So recently I've been loving everything related to witches/witchcraft and horoscopes. I think it's showing that I'm into it right now because my mam asked me if I was turning into a goth. I guess I can take that as a compliment. I read my horoscope everyday and have done so for the past 5 or 6 months. I love comparing what it says to what has acctually happened in my day. Most of the time it can be quite accurate which is what leads me to reading horoscopes often. On the topic of witches Ive finally started American Horror Story: Coven. I'm really enjoying this season so far but haven't watched any of the other seasons yet.
I was watching videos on YouTube this morning and came across a makeup look that I really liked. I usually do winged eyeliner everyday so I thought it would be cool to try something different. This look reminds me of Frances Bean Cobain and Fairuza Balk as Nancy in 'The Craft', which may I add is another awesome movie about witches and witchcraft.

Eyeshadow: GOSH and MAC
Lipstick: Bobbie brown - Old Hollywood (Under),
               TopShop - inhibition (Over)

Outfit and trying a new hairstyle.

I tried this victory roll hairstyle in my hair a while ago and I liked it. These pictures are quite random  because i'm spraying hairspray and eating mince pies but whatever. So for this it's kinda simple I just found tutorials on youtube. My hairs naturally curly already so I didn't curl it. It was hard to get it right- I tried around 20 times. My curls kept making it lumpy and bumpy and frizzy which was annoying but if your hair's straight using a curler would probably work well.

Dress - Almari
Boots - Dr.Martens.

Hurry up Summer 2014!

I have my mock exams beginning on monday and I'm dreading them. I've barely studied either which doesn't help. Anyway, I'm so excited for Summer! I just got tickets to the Arctic Monkeys in Marlay Park in July! And Jake Bugg is one of the support acts. It can't get better than that! I'm hoping this summer will be the best one ever. I say that every year but this time i'll try make an effort to do things and go places. I guess I should put some good songs along with this post seeing as I haven't much more to say so here you go..

Maneater - Nelly Furtado
Tame Impala - Feels like we only go backwards
Can you feel my heart - Bring me the horizon
Kingpin - Jake Bugg
William, it was really nothing - The Smiths
Reptilia - The Strokes
Forever - Haim
Crying Lightening -Arctic Monkeys

I really recommend watching this video. The song is really catchy and the I love the video it's really quirky and retro.

Inspiration: Hayley Williams

Well for those of you who know me, this is clearly obvious. I love Hayley Williams. She is my ultimate girl crush. She is so perfect, talented and genuine. Since I was nine, her red hair really stood out to me and Paramore's alternative rock/pop punk music was really different to the cheesy pop of the 90's/2000's that I'd been listening to before. In the last year she has been on the cover of Nylon, created a collection with MAC and released an amazing self-titled album with Paramore. Hayley's style is unique and has developed a lot over the past year or two.
