Hurry up Summer 2014!

I have my mock exams beginning on monday and I'm dreading them. I've barely studied either which doesn't help. Anyway, I'm so excited for Summer! I just got tickets to the Arctic Monkeys in Marlay Park in July! And Jake Bugg is one of the support acts. It can't get better than that! I'm hoping this summer will be the best one ever. I say that every year but this time i'll try make an effort to do things and go places. I guess I should put some good songs along with this post seeing as I haven't much more to say so here you go..

Maneater - Nelly Furtado
Tame Impala - Feels like we only go backwards
Can you feel my heart - Bring me the horizon
Kingpin - Jake Bugg
William, it was really nothing - The Smiths
Reptilia - The Strokes
Forever - Haim
Crying Lightening -Arctic Monkeys

I really recommend watching this video. The song is really catchy and the I love the video it's really quirky and retro.

Inspiration: Hayley Williams

Well for those of you who know me, this is clearly obvious. I love Hayley Williams. She is my ultimate girl crush. She is so perfect, talented and genuine. Since I was nine, her red hair really stood out to me and Paramore's alternative rock/pop punk music was really different to the cheesy pop of the 90's/2000's that I'd been listening to before. In the last year she has been on the cover of Nylon, created a collection with MAC and released an amazing self-titled album with Paramore. Hayley's style is unique and has developed a lot over the past year or two.

WICKED

Hey guys,
So last week I went to see Wicked, the musical. It was brilliant! I'm not the biggest fan of musicals but I think this has made me change my mind. The costumes stood out the most to me, they were so extravagant. The Emerald City costumes were amazing! I thought the story was so clever. I had no idea what it was about before I went. It's basically the story about the two witches before the whole Dorothy thing. There's a bit more to it but I don't want to ruin it! I would highly recommend go seeing it! Unfortunately you weren't allowed take photo's and I couldn't find many online but I found a few!

Inspiration: Marina And The Diamonds

Hello!
I'm thinking of starting a new thing where once a week I post about an inspirational person to me. I say once a week but I might get a bit excited and want to do more than one a week! So here is a start with Marina and the Diamonds. I've only recently began to like her but she is so pretty and I love her style. I love her hair blonde or brown. I think it's nice either way.

I don't know too much about her music because I don't really listen to her but I like a couple of songs. I really look to her for fashion inspiration. I think she has a unique style and it really suits her. She's quite girly and feminine but I love the photo of her below where she's in all black. She looks so different and gorgeous! The outfit is amazing…

Thank you!
Watch out for more of these posts soon!

What I got for Christmas 2013!

Hello!
This Christmas has been really exciting! I got a lot of great presents. I got tickets to Mcfly and Busted a.k.a McBusted!! I have no one to go with me so far but I'll get someone to come! I got some other small presents and money. My nana bought me a dress by 'Almari' that I have wanted for ages but it was too expensive. I'm so happy with it!

I got a set of soap & glory stuff which are amazing and I've been using everyday.

I can't believe I finally got 'IT'. I think it had to be ordered online because it was sold out everywhere! I've already finished reading it and I thought it was interesting, funny and I love her doodles throughout the book.

I got this book too which has photos and information for possibly every designer, famous models such as Twiggy, photographers including Tim Walker, jewelry designers, makeup artists, illustrators and icons such as Kurt Cobain and David Bowie and the Beatles.

My Nan got me a hamper full of makeup which included some of this.

I got Katy Perry's new perfume "Killer Queen" which is nice.

This is my dress. I don't think it looks
nice on a hanger at all but I think it's really nice on and I love it!

Thank you,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Countdown to Christmas and Christmas Playlist!

Hey!
I can't believe Christmas is tomorrow! This month went so fast but the past few days have gone so slow because I've wanted it to come and it's finally here! I asked for a surprise so I have no idea what to expect which makes it even more exciting I guess. I will definitely do a post on what I got before the end of the month and some outfit posts too. I've also been thinking about what New years resolutions I'm going to take on this time. Not that I ever stick to them but anyway! I'm so glad I've got all my Christmas shopping done too!

I thought I'd pick out a few of my favourite Christmas songs and some others I've been listening to recently and share them!

Driving Home For Christmas - Chris Rea is my absolute favourite Christmas song!
Winter Song - Sara Bareilles & Ingrid Michaelson
Christmas Time - The Darkness
War is Over - John Lennon
Last Christmas - Wham!

Girl Afraid - The Smiths
Take me to Church - Hozier
Mystery Man - The Strypes
Messed up kids - Jake Bugg

Merry Christmas!
